Sharad Agrawal
Wildlife Photographer
Welcome to my world of wildlife photography, where you can explore the amazing wilderness of Rajasthan, India. I am Sharad Agrawal, a wildlife photographer from Udaipur, Rajasthan. I am fortunate to be living my passion as a wildlife photographer since 1997.
My journey into the wild began in 1989 out of my keen interest in bird watching. This was the first time when I encountered some incredible species of birds. My hobby lead me to discover 7 bird species in the forest regions of Kumbhal Garh, Seetamata and Fulwari ki Naal, near Udaipur. The photos along with other 40 photos of birds – captured by me – are part of the book ‘Birds of Rajasthan’ by Rakesh Vyas which showcases the major bird species of Rajasthan.
I have travelled extensively in the quest to capture the beauty of the wild in its most naive form. My passion often takes me closest to nature where I experience the thrill that comes with photographing the wildlife.
In my journey, I also get to witness two distinct pictures. On one side, I see the natural world being exploited. But, on the other side, I also see people with strong determination to conserve biodiversity.
I believe I am a tiny molecule of the latter community of people dedicating their lives to nature. I consider this to be a great honour to be able to contribute in a small way. And therefore, I have brought to nature lovers and wildlife photographers a chance to come face to face with the wild, with me.
I organise camps for small groups in the nearby sanctuaries and jungles of Rajasthan, where I have experienced the most extraordinary moments of my life. With my endeavour, I aim to bring people up close and personal with the natural heritage of Rajasthan. In one way or another, my camps are means of spreading awareness of wildlife conservation while reminding people of the value of wilderness.

Kanishk
Born in Udaipur, a city in Rajasthan, India. Completed my masters degree in tourism.
I have always been passionate about wildlife photography and documenting through my camera. I have travelled to most of the national parks in Rajasthan, and have also explored Udaipur and all its nearby places properly.
From a very young age, I was fascinated by wildlife!!
I used to like places with a good amount of wildlife, I watched wildlife documentaries on TV all the time, and also read National Geographic magazines. I had to wait for my camera till I was 18 yrs old. I soon began to realize Photography and filming wildlife is my way to share the wonderful moments I spend with these wild animals in their natural habitat. I remember heading out to a local pond to look for subjects to shoot.
My motto when organising wildlife trips and camping trips is to tap into people’s emotions towards animals, inspire them to learn more about those animals and take action to conserve wildlife and its habitat.
I have to thank my family, especially my father and mother for their cooperation for allowing me to disappear into these places full of wildlife very often and for letting me do what I love the most.
